Community outreach programmes to eliminate exploitative practices in the textile and garment industries by enabling the current, potential, and former women textile industries in selected source or recruitment communities irrespective of caste and religion to initiate them through education and workers right

The project was implemented in Cuddalore district by mapping the existing facilities, conducting awareness at District and block level, educational institutions, networking with existing local bodies, legal support, sensitization programmes to parents of the women workers and the public.

Ensuring involvement of Government authorities, sensitize the Panchayat Raj Institutions and women self help groups, strengthening the existing community structures and descent recruitment practices in the work place.
